Bruce who? Who is Bruce Lipton? The only Lipton I know of is the tea 😉
Bruce Lipton PhD is a stem cell biologist, best selling author of The Biology of Belief and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award. He is also an internationally recognised leader in the emerging area of bridging science and spirit. Lipton’s stem cell research combined with principles of quantum physics led to a new understanding of the cell’s information processing systems. His research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine revealed this fascinating observation:
A beings perception of their environment, operating or mediated though their cell membranes controls the behaviour and physiology of their cells. It’s becoming more widely accepted that our genes are blue prints and as such, need to be activated. So what activates them? Lipton’s research makes a compelling argument that a primary lever that affects our health is our perception. Lipton asserts our perception of the environment is turned into information utilised at the cellular level which ultimately affects our bodies and health. This idea is becoming accepted by epigenetecists. To quote Lipton summing up his understanding of how it works:
The cell membrane (mem-brain!) monitors the condition of the environment and then sends signals to the genes to engage cellular mechanisms, which in turn, provide for its survival. In the human body, the brain sends messages to the cell’s membrane to control its behaviour and genetic activity. This is how the mind, via the brain, controls our biology.

Ok, so what does a stem cell biologist have to do with Homeopathy? In 2010 Bruce Lipton gave a interview where he explained how homeopathy works, from a scientific point of view. He explained the new emerging sciences are proving any system now based solely on Newtonian physics is outdated in the 21st century in light of our new understandings of quantum physics.
