The ‘famous’ annual Campsie Food Festival took place right in front of our office. It was a great day, even though we got washed out and had to do a desperate salvage mission half way through. The rain bucketed down after midday – at one stage we thought the festival organisers might call it an early day. But to our surprise people hung in, braved the weather and enjoyed the amazing array of food from all around this amazing world of ours. From where we were, the one stall that made ‘a killing’ was the Gozleme stand; the queue for their gozleme’s stayed constant, even when it was bucketing; see the pictures.
The festival was a great way to meet people in the community and talk about other health options. As always, the Shakti Acupressure Mat took centre stage with quite a few people suffering from back or neck pain. We also had people interested in attending Laughing Yoga sessions so watch this space for more details.
The other thing people had lots of queries about was stress relief in general and our Living Calm for Families program in particular. So we decided to extend the Living Calm for Families offer until the end of the month. This means that if you can organise a group of approximately 10 people at your school, community centre, office or even home we’ll come to you and give a FREE introductory session on Living Calm for Families. But time’s running out, so don’t leave it to late. Stay warm 🙂
PS – For those of you who missed it…here’s a link to the festival site. That way you can see what you missed and put it in your diary for next year 😉
PPS – couldn’t resist – had to include a Gozleme recipe, they were so good this is something you HAVE TO try at home…I found another recipe with the dough made with yoghurt…I’ll be trying that one.
